Just southeast of Kansas City, Lee’s Summit has a rich history of its own. Founded in 1865 as Strother, we were later renamed to honor the then-postmaster. Since the beginning, Lee’s Summit has been a wonderful place to call home. No matter what the season you can always find something to do here, or take a short drive to downtown KCMO for even more options. This summer get out and explore the area!
